Lord Ganesha

 Lord Ganesha or Vigneshwara is the first and primary God of the Hindus. Before starting any venture, it is imperative that we offer prayers and pooja to Lord Ganesh so that there are no obstacles in our path. That is why, before posting any message in my newly started Blogger,  I have considered it mandatory to post a message on Lord Vigneshwara. I pray Lord Ganesh to bestow good health and happiness to you all. 

"Tat purushaya vidmahe vakra thundaya deemahi
Thanno dandi prachodayaat"

Ganesh Chathurthi

Ganesh is the First and Foremost God of India. So, Ganesh Chathurthi is important to all the Hindus and celebrated all over India. Ganesh is a Vigneshwar. This means, He removes Vignam or obstacles in the path of progress. No function in India can be held without doing Pooja to Lord Ganesh first. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesh on the fourth day (Chaturthi) of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada month of Hindu calendar.
